This page provides links to media coverage of this proposal, as well as any responses made to it.

The first story to be published about the City of Brighton proposal ran in The Cape Gazette on May 23, 2003.

On May 24, 2003 a local radio station call-in show took phone calls about the new city concept.

A local television station ran a short piece announcing it on May 28, and also gave its viewers a link to this site.

The Cape Gazette's May 30 edition included a Chris Wildt editorial cartoon, reproduced here:

In addition, the paper ran a letter from Charles Valenti, a resident of The Glade residential subdivision. A copy is reproduced here, because the Gazette's web site does not maintain archives of their letters page. A short response accompanies the letter.

In early June, Kerin Magill of Sussex County Online interviewed me about the Brighton proposal. Here's the link to her story.
