The City of Brighton, Delaware

A practical solution for the rational development of
eastern Sussex County's Cape Region

What are the next steps in creating the City of Brighton?

There are several issues to be worked out before seeking any legislative approval for the new City of Brighton. These include determining how the City will finance its operations, how the City government will be organized, and how to deal with property development proposals while the City works on creating and adopting its own comprehensive development plan.

These and other matters will require public meetings and input, which will be sought using this site and other information resources.

Please give this proposal your serious consideration, and share it with others you know may be interested in this area and how it grows. Several Cape Region property owners and others support this proposal already, and are ready to work with others to make this vision a reality.

Thanks very much!
